OUR HISTORY
1954
Luigi Barone arrived in Montreal from Italy in 1954 and started with a single pickup truck. Over three generations, the family built a durable capital base through real estate development and construction in Montreal, on three principles: patient ownership, passing on outside investors, and exiting only if the terms were right.
That capital base became the foundation for a formal family office, built to continue the real estate ventures and to acquire, own and operate manufacturing businesses for the long term. Today, alongside the real estate development firm, the family’s manufacturing interests span lumber, packaging, automotive and energy.
These are businesses the family runs.
A legacy of quiet influence.
Across 70 years, the family’s work has extended beyond the businesses themselves. Its presence has included real estate, trade, private investment, manufacturing, automotive and community engagement in Montreal.
